From a very young age, I had the idea of creating handbags, and I wondered how to take an existing product and innovate in it, considering that it had to have its own DNA, with a differential, added value, also competitive internationally and enduring in time, that only by seeing it left memory.

I widowed at the age of 28, so all those purposes were set aside giving priority to my family. After time I took the advice of a friend and began to develop the idea.
Step by step with great tenacity and dedication I began to give form to this idea and in that process of trial and error and learning from the mistakes, I continued with more strength always thinking in my objective, taking advantage of everything learned and continue creating and taking into account the expertise of the artisans in the detail, I was giving shape to that DNA that I wanted to conceive in order to carry out a product with responsibility in a sustainable way.
The LIRA FERRER brand was launched on July 29, 2013 and since then there have been several events that reward this brand.
The Colombian designer Lira Ferrer, presented her own brand in the city of Bogotá, with the support of her family and in the company of one of her daughters, Lira Kynast, dressed in black in the photo.
